Join CRASAC as a trustee and be part of the movement to end sexual violence

CRASAC is an award-winning charity that helps people who have been impacted by rape or sexual violence to survive and thrive. We provide specialist support to women, men and children who have been affected directly or indirectly by sexual violence at any time in their lives.

Our aim is to address the trauma and injustice of sexual abuse and exploitation through specialist counselling, advocacy, and emotional support services.

We are keen to hear from enthusiastic and proactive women who are interested in joining us as a trustee. You will need to share our passion and commitment to ending violence against women and girls, help us deliver our strategy, and will be expected to:

  • Attend regular governance meetings
  • Respond to emails and requests between meetings
  • Participate in training as applicable
  • Support CRASAC events and activities
  • Commit to at least three years of service

We welcome applications from women of all ages and are particularly keen to hear from women who have experience or knowledge of local strategy in relation to sexual violence or public health in Coventry.

We would especially welcome applications from black and minority ethnic women and younger women, who are currently under-represented on our board. This position is unpaid, but reasonable travel expenses will be covered.
