How we support you.
Women-only and gender-inclusive support.
Coventry Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (CRASAC) supports people in Coventry affected by sexual violence to heal, recover, and thrive.
Founded in 1980 as a feminist organisation, we recognise that sexual violence is deeply linked to inequality in society. It disproportionately affects women and girls and is most often perpetrated by men. We also recognise that survivors of all genders are impacted.
Every survivor deserves dignity, safety, and access to specialist trauma-informed support.
Our approach.
We aim to provide safe, respectful and supportive spaces for everyone who uses our service.
We recognise that people understand sex and gender in different ways. Our approach is grounded in respect, safety, and trauma-informed practice.
Our priority is always to:
Support survivor safety
Do no further harm
Offer clear, appropriate choices in support
