THREE PEAKS WITH BATHTUBS FUNDRAISER FOR CRASAC

27 / 07 / 2021

Two mountain leaders from Coventry will be taking the National Three Peaks Challenge up a level in August to raise money for sexual violence charity charity, CRASAC.

Dan Liggins and Damien Quinn who run Elite Adventures are well used to mountain challenges, but this time they will be carrying a full-sized metal bathtub each as they ascend Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon over three days.

Their challenge starts in Scotland on Friday 6th August aiming to complete Scafell Pike on Saturday 7th August and finish with Snowdon on Sunday 8th August, making full use of sunlight hours.

Dan says: “Although it’s a challenge that’s been done countless times before, we were keen to make it even more demanding to help raise awareness of a local charity that really makes a difference.

“The bathtubs weigh around 30kg each and will be strapped to our backs. With a total walking distance of over 26 miles and incline over 3000 metres this is set to really push us both physically and mentally to complete the challenge in three consecutive days.”
