An access key or accesskey allows a computer user to immediately jump to a specific page via the use of keyboard alone.

How to use access keys

Below is a list of how to use the access keys with the most commonly used browsers.

Browser Keys
Internet Explorer Alt + Access Key focuses on the link, but requires Enter to be pressed in order to activate the link
Firefox Alt + Shift + Access Key
Safari Ctrl + Option (Alt for Windows verions of Safari ) + Access Key
Chrome Alt + Shift + Access Key
